RECORD UPDATE
yo kiddos
Just wanted to let you know i'm finishing up the final vocal for the record, and after that, its FINALLY FINISHED. Hell yes. two very blissful words for all who have been waiting, including my friends step dad Ronnie. Shooting for late Jan release, and we're also taking off on a 2 week w. coast tour mid-Jan. Keep your eyes peeled for a few Christmas songs we are going to release on the site in Dec as well.
Recorded a new Shins jam last month at mercers studio. I'm obsessed with the Electro Harmonix poly synth pedal again. It sounds like a cathedral organ trying to make its way onto a New Order record. Cant wait to hear the final mix.

Heading back home after a string of East coast Shins dates. Some highlights include watching "Outbreak" on Air Canada, making small talk with 3 racoons in a dumpster, and dancing all the way from Boston to NY. Really looking forward to playing Seattle *Jessica Dobson show* in Oct. We are playing at the Columbia City Theater with Ivan & Alyosha. you can get tix here and there is more info on the shows page.

KICK IT
Just got back from Shins tour. Big Audio Dynamite played before us at Outside Lands, and blew my face off. Mick Jones is a total badass.

WE DONT MESS AROUND
Shins shows start tomorrow, and we've spent the last 2 weeks rehearsing in a sauna/an un-airconditioned warehouse turned rehearsal space. Wearing shorts to work is not bad gig, especially when it doesnt feel like work.

I PLAY IN THE SHINS, NOW.
So the word is out, i'll be playing guitar and singing some sweet songs with the Shins this year. Its totally wild that I get to play along side Richard Swift and Yuuki again. This band will not be short of some tasty three part harmonies.

This month has been nuts, getting together the final mixes for my record, and recording a few live+video sessions. We just finished a week of shows around the N.West with the Fling, and are starting to plan out

It's not so bad
This week, we've been busy rehearsing for our NW run of shows and unabsashedly excited about getting to have our bass player (mr. john carter raines) play the shows with us. He'll be a seattle kid soon enough, but until then, we like to show him a good time by walking through the forest, passing a few elephants on the way, sauntering on into a rose garden, and then eating the best damn cuban food anyone could find.
